    Employment Tribual looming

Am taking ex employers to tribunal for Disability Discrimination. I have battled against depression, stress and anxiety for over a decade now and it brings highs and lows but it has never affected my employment. In my last job (i was made redundant last year after 7 years) I was off for only 3 days (all taken separately) during all that time. I have an exemplary attendance and working record. I work in accounts. For reasons I wont expand on I called in sick (my first taken in my new employment and I had been there 10 months) to inform them. From that phone call they then decided to get rid of me.
I have been given a pay rise recently, been praised highly for my work but now they say my ability is limited, my character suspicious, and are relaying this to employment agencies also! They want proof of my illness and want my doctors records which I will only be to pleased to prove my history, they have even called their solicitors to ask how they can get rid of me without it seeming discriminating!. How cruel and vicious they have become. Can they get away with this? They have now made me redundant (manipulated this to get rid of me.) I am glad to be out of such an unlawful and disreputable company. But my treatment has been brutal and discriminating. Any advice. ACAS have tried to mediate - but the company are so arrogant they say they arent prepared to resolve anything. I am representing myself.

As much as many of the topics discussed in GD - which is where I am moving thread.

Mongoblush - welcome to HEXUS. I should point out that asking questions like these on a forum (technology or otherwise) is not a substitute for getting properly qualified professional advice - however others in a similar situation may offer their experiences.
