I'm lucky my toungue never swelled

The lip does look cool though, don't think a bcr through it would look right, even though thats what i prefer through my labret, that was a kinda spur of the moment "i wanna get something done" thing aswell strangley enough and luckily i was about 200 yards away from a piercers at the time.

One tip though be careful you don't bite down on the back of the stud, i did and it left a nice big chip in my tooth

I got my tongue done about a year ago now. The only time it hurt was when I had the first bar in for the 10 days and I kept biting it when I was eating. That brought tears to my eyes! He still aint for having it done though lol

Lynni, think of the worst period pain you've ever had and times it by 20 at least, then you start getting the picture Then there's the feeling that you're going to sh*t yourself when you're actually pushing (although I must stress that very few women actually do, it's just the feeling )

When I've eaten too much and feel really bloated etc I find gulping down a glass of fizzy juice and giving a huge burp works wonders

Well the worst period pain ive ever had, actually made me feel sick and left me in a sweaty clammy mess..... am i close yet?

And i thought they made sure your bowels were opened before going into fully pledged labour? well they did when my mum did her midwifery, cos what she told me was the muscles which contract are the same for the bowels and the uterus.... so if u have a full bowel and u push in labour you are likely to poo everywhere. or am i wrong?

I just feel really bloated, like iam six months pregnant or something and it hurts

They didn't do anything to my bowels, but a lot of the time nature will see that you go before you go into labour anyway. I don't think you are wrong on that though as I have heard of people having it done.

You could be quite close with what you described your worst period to be. With both mine I puked when I was in labour

I would have thought it was the PC muscle that you tense when you "push".. AFAIK it's totally unrelated to your pooing muscles..

I have both my nipples done with a ring in the right horizontally placed and in the left a 10mm bar which is to be changed to an 8mm when fully healed vertically placed. They hurt a lot just as the needle is going through the nerves in the centre, kinda like a very hot burn, but after the initial flash of pain it goes away pretty quick. The worst with a nipple piercing is walking into a door in the first few days, you realise when you have them how close you actually get to the door when walking around them. You only do it once or twice though, it is amazing how fast you learn when pain is involved.
Having them is cool and I want to get a PA at some stage in the future, that should be fun
