Like posting the same picture twice, you mean...?early morning fail![]()
Double fail!![]()
How did that happen ? Aliens ? Chavs ? Or a woman driver who can't park ?
I love it when bad things happen to van drivers...
That looks like quite a slope - handbrake slippage maybe?
Or someone forgot to engage the handbrake at all is more likely.
I was being kind to the numpty van driverWith that kind of slope I don't think you could get out of a van if it didn't have the handbrake on - surely you'd start rolling back straight away?
Also, I love the concern of people passing by - in your photos of the incident I can see at least two other people taking photos, and I'd lay a reasonable amount of money on all three of you doing the same thing - posting them to the internet to have a laugh at...
Drunk driver perhaps ?
There were probably about 10 people taking pics & laughing, that's what I first saw, then the police, then eventually I noticed the van![]()
One of my neighbours crashed into his house a few weeks ago when the brakes failed on the car. Luckily some railway sleepers in a flowerbed stopped the car before it went through the wall of the house. The car got wedged into an L shaped corner. I thought better than to...
Although, it was tempting. He seemed very sheepish about it, and all the neighbours that had come out to see if he was ok were being supportive. I didn't want to humiliate him, considering it was a genuine accident and not just him being stupid.
In regards to the van, maybe they were reversing onto the pavement and went a bit too far, not realising exactly where the ledge was.
The brakes on *one side* of my airplane failed recently when I tested them as I was leaving the parking row. It swung me left directly towards the last aircraft parked in the row
Luckily, there was a guy sitting in the plane preparing to fly, and he spotted us coming and gesticulating; he leapt out and pushed it backwards out of the way just in time!![]()
