I find shorting the fuses in my amps works best. Not all of them, just the extra ones. Who cares about fire safety? Just short that plug fuse and you'll hear the difference with any ampLol
Things like this are just utterly ridiculous. How can people think that it will make any kind of difference whatsoever? Jeeeesssuss.
Seriously? What has doing anything to a plug top got to do with sound quality? It supplies electricity to something. Nothing else! All WATTGATE plugs fitted to our cables (and also the ones available loose from us) are now cryogenically treated. Cryogenic treatment involves extreme cooling of the metal parts of the plug and the theory is that it de-stresses them. In terms of sound quality, we’ve found that the PowerKords fitted with treated plugs sound smoother, more three-dimensional and less ‘closed in’ than ones fitted with untreated plugs
Ahh well, a fool and his cash!

Personally I find that running solid god cables directly back to the powerstation, using cryogenically treated ferrite transformers, made when the moon is full, gives my £25 idoc a performance far surpassing that listening to mere live music in a concert.
Or not...

I can't think of anything to say that would somehow stop idiots from buying these things, so instead here's a gif of somebody failing with a smoke grenade.
