Been looking at ebuyer over the past few months, and found that they seem to be very expensive does any one else find them expensive.
ebuy ati card £248 at ebuyer and £220 at a few other sites, 28 pound difference.

if its a little more than other major sites i use them as they don't rip you off once its end of life, you get a full refund unlike other companies who give you partial refunds if they cannot replace the item.

This is bunny and friends. He is fed up waiting for everyone to help him out, and decided to help himself instead!
Maybe not, but it certainly feels like one. If your component breaks, and you're recompensed with so little money that you can't even buy a worthwhile replacement, then there's very little point in having the warranty at all.
If, as Gonzo says, you pay a little bit more to Ebuyer to receive that kind of customer service, then it's not so much "a bonus that you should be grateful for", it's premium service that you've paid a premium price for. I appreciate that it's not set in stone, but they have a very good reputation when it comes to RMAs.
When I shop around I tend to find that for most items Ebuyer is still competitive with other reputable etailers. I imagine it's always possible to find one or two items that are significantly cheaper elsewhere, but across the board I don't think they're particularly expensive. And if they are expensive for an item you particularly want, just get that item somewhere else!

I generally use either ebuyer or scan for my bits as they tend to be pretty good on price and they don't try and shaft me on delivery I know I get free delivery with Scan, but they don't always have the bits I want.
I went looking for some laptop DDR2 ram the other week and they had naff all in.
You've just got to keep an eye on them as their prices can change from day to day you can get a really good price one day only for it to change the next (I got my 5850 from them for £199.99 which was only available for a very short period of time) but I've found they're generally very good on prices. And as others say their RMA service is really good (I've had to return the odd item with zero fuss).
Got a laptop hard drive from ebuyer, it was the cheapest of the major sites I would trust with my money. Threw in a micro-sd card and got myself free delivery which turned up 2 days early. It would take a reasonable price difference for me not to shop with them or someone equally as reputable.
I ordered a laptop hard drive and some ram a few weeks ago. The hard drive came 2 days early in a massive box inside a smaller box !
The ram turned up the day after in a jiffy bag in a parcel force van ! Nuts !

lol I really should read through what I post more often to makesure I've got the context of it right !
What I meant was the hard drive came in two boxes, a very big box which could have taken a motherboard and nearly all the parts to build a new PC, and inside that larger box was a very small box with the hard drive in.
Always seem fine to me.Just bought a laptop for the Parents-in-law. Was a good value item and came quickly.
Society's to blame,
Or possibly Atari.
I've only had one issue with them when something didn't turn up. It transpired that City Link delivered it to the wrong address, so they sent out a replacement, only for the original to turn up from the people the driver had delivered it to a week later![]()
Was a big ebuyer fan in the past but recently they have been really uncompetitive and seemingly one of the last to respond when there's a fall in prices for certain components. Having said that I did buy a 6gb RAM kit from them a few weeks ago as it was a better price than their competitors at the time, although they've slipped back again since.
