Not 'proper' Moutain Dew. Think of it more as one of the older (cant remember which) energy drinks rebranded.

You can get alot of US stuff, from a few sites, and I know one of said sites actually has a shop up in the Centre in MK.
Fancy a trip on LAN Friday? Meant to order a case but forgot

Camp site last night didn't have Internet. However, the one here by Toronto is shockingly slow, so I've updated the blog with yesterday, but gave up uploading pictures.

The Americana Winery is quite cool - I've eaten there, rather good it was. Except for the waitress spilling Root Beer on me!

    Hope you enjoy the camping!

Not sure why so many haters for Montreal. I lived there for four years and still love the place. Plenty of places to see and the Quebec French are not as bad as the France French (even though they think they are the same).

This time of year the weather in Montreal is still pretty good, stays warm up until the end of September usually. You should go up to Mount Royal as there are some nice views from there and also check out the Biodome. Go down to the Old Port and if you feel hungry stop into a La Bell Province (they are all over the place) and grab yourself a Poutine.

I found that Toronto was a lot more over rated and it was basically a little America. Still nice there too though, but prefer Montreal.

Got up a bit early this morning and managed to get the rest of the pictures uploaded before the rest of the campsite gets up and hogs the badnwidth!

Re: Just Popping Over to US/Canada...

Went to Niagra Falls yesterday and spent the day in Toronto today (about half a day too long personally). The Internet is slow, so I'll upload yesterday's and maybe today's later on.

We're off to Algoquin National Park tomorrow for a couple of days. The weather is suppose to break at some point with a couple of storms, and then the tempreture should hopefully be more bearable.

OK, Day 2 of the blog is uploaded now. Hopefully the Wifi will be a bit better at Algonquin when we get there later today. If not, it might be another couple of days before the next post.

Re: Just Popping Over to US/Canada...

Days 3, 4 and 5 have now been uploaded. There was no Wifi at Algonquin park, so no updates. Currently in a jail in Ottawa. We decided to stay at a hostel rather than camp today, so can now charge up my laptop/camera and update. I've haven't bothered with pictures for Day 4 and there weren't any for Day 5 because I didn't take a camera because of the risk of getting it wet (canoeing). This may become bit of a theme as I'm busy having fun than updating this!

Anyway, really liking Ottawa more than Toronto. There's a baloon festival and concert tonight just across the river which I'll be going to tonight.

That Uni has a lovely downtown campus! Had a wander through after not visiting the Musuem there, very nice place!

Re: Just Popping Over to US/Canada...

Currently camping outside Quebec city. It's a KOA campsite, which is a chain of campsites across America and the facilities and services are very good. However, it's labour day and we need groceries but all the shops are shut! So we are having to eat out....

Anyway, updated the blog with Days 7 and 8, Montreal. Sorry the writing style is mundane, but I'm on holiday damn it!
