yep - everything pretty much shuts there. Its a shame you are not out there early in the year. May 24th is a good day to be partying in Canada. Ask your fellow campers about "may two four"

I see you went to O Noir too, what a brilliant place!

Sure was!
Spent today travelling most of the day from Quebec City to Bar Harbor, Maine, just outside Acadia Park. Since there's no power conveniently around here and I didn't get a chance to charge my laptop at the last place (it's been raining pretty much non-stop for most of the week now), I won't be updating for the forseeable future (ie, 2-3 days). I'll do a big update either at NY or at home.
Back in New York in a hotel with a proper bed and wifi! Just gong out again for one last meal with my group tonight, so I won't be updating my blog until later; maybe when I'm back in the UK. So until then...
Just transferred from the Holiday Inn in New Jersey to the Pod Hotel on Manhatten. I now have two nights here before going back to the UK. I've booked the Top of the Rock for tomorrow evening (currently raining today), but other than that, sitll haven't really planned on what to do today. Last night, I had Thai food with the remainder of my group, went into Times Square (very busy!) and visited the M&Ms shop there!
Finally finished most of the blog, with days 9-14 done now. I just need to add a summary of the trek and the couple of days I did alone in NYC.
