I am in Peru for about another 2 weeks and I have some how broken a tooth!
I have broken this tooth before hand had it drilled and fixed but this time the side wall of the tooth has actually broken off totally!
Apart from regular use of mouth wash and no sugar what else can I do to make sure it doesn't get any worse?

The best thing to do is just keep them clean, although don't brush too harshly around the broken tooth as you may remove whatever is protecting the nerve. Probably investing in something like sensodine might help
no at the moment it doesn't hurt, funny enough I have some sensodine with me.

I am covered on my travel insurance so they are sorting out a dentist for me here in Peru.

The dentists over here are very good! it cost me $26 to get my tooth fixed and it was painless.
