I'm beginning to like this sub-forum, but it's useless without pictures

Sorry to be rude, but please drag your mind out of the gutter/playground.

The very reason this sub forum exists is to give the ladies somewhere to talk about such issues without the 'teenage' responses that may arise.

I agree with Crazy Cricket completely. There are only four threads in here so far, and I've already posted about a TTIUWP remark in one of the others. So I'll repeat here what I said there .....

"Without picking on you, because that remark was bound to happen sooner or later, let me say here and now that this is exactly what this forum DOES NOT NEED.

This is a ladies forum, and it doesn't need the blokes in here oggling. The idea is for the ladies to be comfortable in here, and if we're going to have what I would class as a "teenage" response, they might have well have posted in GD.

Blokes, your presence here is very tentative. A bit of respect for the ladies please, or this forum goes 'Ladies Only' and the blokes get locked out. When posting, err on the side of courtesy, please."

I'd be obliged if this point wasn't responded to in this thread. We've already had a couple of threads dragged off-topic by this kind of thing, and I'd rather not see another one go that way.

OOOUUUCH! £11 for a thong! did you know those things cost about 30p to make? As for the bras, still not cheap enough for me. I will one day revolutionise the world "cheap well made bras for all!"

Erm, I hope this is the appropriate place...

I have a friend of the female gender whom you might be able to help out. The issue is this:

She likes to dress attractively but modestly (woohoo! as far as I'm concerned. More feminine ladies, less brazen hussies please - sorry - tangent). One thing she hates is when bras are so thin that, there's no subtle way to say this, you can see the shape of her nipples through her clothing or whatever.

Basically, I hear that bras in general aren't much fun to wear, but the ones that are, 'show through' too much.

So the question then is, is it possible to get nice, comfortable bras, that aren't so thin that they 'show through'.

    Galant,

    You can get padded bras.

For a £5 voucher at figleaves go to www.figleaves.com/alldays and enter 386MX2Y1 you have to spend more than £15 though - which I wouldn't have thought would be hard looking at some of the prices

T-shirt bras... they're made so that things don't show through. Designed to be worn under tshirts (shockingly!)

    I have the same problem
I'd say a good padded t-shirt bra. I like the ones with the floating cups. Its thick enough to conceal but gives a more natural shape than the sort of "solid mould" ones. However, since Sex and The City, a bit a of "nippular" hint has become quite fashionable
