    10/10 steve threlfall....you were right !!!

well after reading i had just bought a gigabyte GA7N 400 PRO 2 motherboard ops: this was what he posted in my other thread

"If you can mate take it back and swap it for the NF7 on monday. It would be a real shame to waste a gig of OCZ and a 2500 mobile barton on anything less. I dont think you'l be happy with it and you will end up wishing you had done the job right in the first place- i know the feeling."
and he was right, got my pc back on friday and had a play with it over the weekend, then by yesterday i knew it was going back to the shop.gutted at the 15% i lost on it but nevermind the nf7-s v2 is on the way now.so i will be able to play with my 2500xp-m and my luverly OCZ platinum LE ram.
right what nf7-s mobo mods do i need to know about?

Is that GigaByte an Nforce2 board? If it is you honestly won't notice an awful lot of difference between that and the Abit. Lol. Much as I hate to say it, and I love my board, it's true. Lol

well i had a asus A7N8X deluxe before the gigabyte and that made the gigabyte board look total sh*te.wouldnt let my unlocked 2500xp barton run over 204 fsb.ive had 224 out of it on the asus!!!the bios options were also poor, then there was the Dipswitch multiplier jobby.ok if your not in to o/cing,but poor if you are...
