I'm actually a strict vegetarian but I only saw that they said this a few days ago! I just have to tell myself that I've been eating them so far, so I may as well eat the rest since otherwise my girlfriend has wasted £15 or whatever they cost (she doesn't like them). I also have to tell myself that they MAY contain TRACES...so fingers crossed this batch doesn't contain any!

Yeah that's a reasonable judgement call, I've had similar occasions. Does annoy me how poor product info tends to be in general.. especially online where you can't pick the product up and have a gander.
Then sometimes it works the other way round - Toblerone including Tinys are supposedly suitable, yet they don't mark the box.

Why is Lidl plural?

The missing word was probably shop, as in Lidl's shop. I think the apostrophe is correct in that instance.

Only £3-99 a bottle, and very decent at that, much nicer than that nasty Tesco stuff.

and +1 for the Lebkuchen also from Lidl.

oh, and now added : Lidl's own Stollen with chunks of marzipan in the middle. Ahhhh yes, and chocolate covered marzipan at 89p a bar

My girlfriend (who is German) has made her own stollen this year so it will be interesting to see how it compares to the shop bought stuff!

Ahh this is 1 Euro a bottle el plonko (courtesy of channel hopping 'rentals), some Creme de cassis, water and orange juice with some sugar and spice bags.

Made about 3 bottles worth so enough to keep me going over xmas.
