That doesn't sound too good, huh? I can't quite say that I've been in that particular situation :/, can't you try something as strong as nailpolish to get it off? Or go to a cosmetic shop or similar, maybe you can ask them for help to remove that...well, good luck at your posh meal btw! Have it nice and good luck with the stains/spots.

Isn't the idea of fake tan that it fools you're skin into thinking it's in the sun. Which would make it REALLY difficult to get off.

    Sandpaper??

Hope you find something that works.

My wife got me to put a bit of fake tan on her arms (and legs for some reason) two days before our wedding. I got married with drastically brown hands as a result.

My friend at work was going to a wedding... bought a new posh strapless dress but thought she looked a bit white... had a fake tan done at a Salon (so that it wouldn't go wrong!).... woke up in the morning looking like a tiger! (Stripes... you know!).
Had to wear an old dress that covered her shoulders

SO.... although that doesn't really help you at all(!).... be thankful... it could have been a LOT worse!!!!

Have a great time tonight (I'm sure no-one will notice!)

I've had a lot of sobering thoughts in my time.... It was them that started me drinking.

That doesn't sound so good :/ Well it's good that the bride wasn't doing the same thing then. How fun can it be buying a lovely new wedding dress and then have to change dress in the last minute to find somthing that'll cover ones shoulder?

So that thing you said: It could have been a lot worse, really is true!

    Sandpaper!! ROFL

    Sadly true though.

Probably much too late now but depending on how posh the dinner a nice pair of wrist length dress gloves would have done the treat. Assuming your dress is not full length sleeved then they would look pretty cool and elegant aswell.

Well hope it went well anyway.

    Yeah glad it went well.

I had a similar experience once when I was using some very strong BLUE alcohol based dye in the workshop and forgot to wear gloves. Well alcohol based dye spreads everywhere and is very difficult to get off in the short term so my hands were completly blue and i had to play in a gig that evening . Luckily it turned out we were playing in a tent/marquee which was fairly badly lit but still I got a few strange looks.

Oooh, bad luck, huh? Well, good that it wasn't a stage with strong/powerful searchlight!
