    Life is good....

The sun is shining, I've got a cracking life here with a superb little family in a nice house and I'm on holiday for a week...

Got a wireless lappy, just installed an in-car minidisc player and I'm off for a stint down the driving range in a min..

The youngests birthday party is all sorted for next week and we're all off to Duxford to see the loverly planes and meet some like-minded Hexus, GSV and Marlin type chaps and chapesses (as well as others) the week after that...

Life is good and I'm a contented, mellow dude....

I'll have a cold beer waiting for you when you get home if that helps?

I've had a lot of sobering thoughts in my time.... It was them that started me drinking.

Slept all day, just woke up, have to go to work in an hour. Then the same tomorrow, and the next day, and the next month. I will complain. Vociferously!

    You will be rich TeePee

I had a good sleep in and am sat here at my comp practising my AutoCAD skills and fiddling with a website and of course checking Hexus now and again.

This morning i put together an old pentium II 350mhz system that I had got free from college. They wouldnt give me the case though (because of some recycling laws) so i had to take everything out bit by bit and reassemble it in styrofoam packaging . It works though (its got 64MB RAM two usb ports and onboard intel 10/100 ethernet) and looks kind of cool and all for free .

College life is so cool eh

Well believe me i only got this because one of my lecturers was nice enough to put in a word for me. They are awfully beaurocratic (how the hell do you spell that word ) in my college and each and every computer and printer scanner etc is barcoded and any change of location has to be recorded .
Anyway for the last few days our dept has been throwing out loads of old stuff. Lots of it still working. Lots of old (very old) macs and a good few old printers etc and some PCs and screens. If i could be bothered I could probably rip the guts out of most of them but a computer is an awful nuisance without a case. Not to mention that it would probably get killed by static fairly fast.

Well, yeah that's true! Okay, well my school gives away old stuff (computers etc) But just to the association that I'm a member of . So maybe I should not be complanining!

Btw the word is spelled: Bureaucratic *hehe* *a bit proud, I've corrected a guy from Ireland* Sorry..I just had to

I can't do things simultaneously, and I'm on the phone atm... So can't type anything of interest.

But life is gooooood Infact, couldn't ever be better.
Light travels faster than sound. Is this why some people appear bright until you hear them speak?
