AFAICT the central white strip *will* rotate and the small gears will roll round the frame with it, but he's having problems keeping the small gears in the frame when you move it. Which in my mind says it doesn't work, but maybe I'm just a cynic

I assume the lack of a video is because you'd get 3 seconds of movement followed by a shower of small cogs...

On a conventional epicyclic gear set, the plants would be held in place by a cage or frame arrangement, but I guess that is just a little tricky to implement on this set up!
