No, that's not it, no personal attacks at all, blatant or otherwise. None.
A forum can only grow in a healthy way if new members can join and feel comfortable, if any the attitude of any member prevents that, then said member will find themselves without access, possibly permanently.

Bumpage for no other reason than it needs to be read.
I meant both really Saracen insulting and this kind
A forum of supposed adults shouldn't have to be reminded of how to act towards other members of the forums and in the same breath a forum of adults should be able to discuss things without insult one another.
I've just been speaking to a member who told me he has given up on Hexus because of how he was treated in a thread he started, this member is/was a long standing member.
Yes, and some of the comments made to those that some members regard as spammers don't help either. A genuine newbie might not recognise another new poster as a spammer, and if he sees comments on that thread, it may put him off joining. Thats why we appreciate the reported post mechanism so we can investigate further and take appropriate action without t being pulic.
Sadly GD is the forum that requires the most moderation and monitoring effort - and by a large margin.

I dont know if he has checked pm's or not but next time I catch him on MSN I will get him to check.
I also tried talking him into staying, whether it worked or not I don't know because he had to shoot off.
Shame really, he is/ was one of the few members from Hexus that I speak to outside of Hexus.
I do read the forum fairly regularly and I have to say I've never seen this type of behaviour to be an issue here, every now and again a couple of discussions turn a bit ugly as the op or a few members get a bit cheesed off when they discover the majority don't agree but thats about it aside from the occasionally blatant troll post thats generally maturely dealt with here.
