You know when you are a good bank customer when they increase your overdraft.
Just had mine extended to £600 from £100 ... Hmmmmm ....
Thats the trouble with the world today and so much debt. Its SO easy to get money!

Being a well behaved person will always pay benefits.....eventually.
Rules with Banks: They are ALWAYS right, and you must go with them.....infact.....Swallow it down, is the best way to deal with Bank Corporations....and then one day....they turn out to be your friends
It just takes a long time, and lots of Butt Kissing

Its always a good idea to be nice to these people, they handle all your cash, its amazing how easily they could loose it :/
Very true. Although I bank with Natwest and have never ever had a problem with them.
I'm a Natwest person. But the same rules apply in my experience.....the Brown Nose doesn't involve begging and pandering....it involves behaving, and playing by their rules. Then you get what ya want.
It works

First Direct are tops!
Got charged £20 for going 79p overdrawn, rang em up and asked the woman if she thought it was fair and she said no and gave me my money back!
They've done loads other pleasant things in the past too, like waiving all charges incurred when my pay was a week late going in due to a company balls up.
(The company had mistakenly given me 92,000 miles petrol allowance instead of 92 miles... I had a wage slip for £34,500!.... alas they spotted it and stopped my wages going in.)
ROFL! Bet you would have loved that to go through! Thats a whole years wages for some people!Originally posted by Deckard

The thing was, Head Office DIDN'T spot it, it was at the branch I work in that the payroll clerk there was glancing donw the payroll list and saw it... she told me later that she didn't normally look at the list as she just assumed H.O. knew what they were doing... yeah, that made me feel better.... thanks...
