Free and reliable webspace

Where can I get free and reliable webspace, I just want simple FTP access, no adverts, no bandwidth limits or anything. What is available?

NTL ARE F***ING HOPELESS AND USELESS TO MANKIND.

I NEED somewhere to host my site/sig without paying.

That link worked 1st time (v. funny btw), not working now though, wtf!! :confused:

get a geocites account, and but change your file extensions to .txt

Geocities are almost as bad as NTL. And they have a bandwidth limit which is pretty awful.
I'm currently trying to get through to NTL customer service to sort it out but they are "very busy" :rolleyes:

Same linkage problems with www.freewebspace.com pop-up hell there btw, don't know any others sorry Howard. I think free sites for what we want to do are a thing of the past now m8 :(

GOD :mad: NTL are absolutely and positively hopeless.
After holding for about 20 minutes I get some woman who doesn't have a clue what she's doing, asks a load of repeated questions about my email address, etc, then puts me on hold again. 10 minutes later the phone goes dead. What a joke NTL are.

nightmare m8e... only know of one guy who fortunately for him has never had a problem with NTHell... glad I was on BlueYonder for my cable.. never had a problem...

Was thinking about signing up for NTL broadband! having second thoughts now...recommendations? 'NTHell' lol btw :D

I don't really need to buy it. I have started uploading stuff back to my NTL space now. My brother bought a redirect address and he only uses it for the email so he lets me use the website. So that's sorted.

I use Eclipse internet ( www.eclipse.co.uk ) for my 512k/256k ADSL. Works great, very nice pings in games, they say they specialise in gaming. Its cheap which is important, one of the main reason i use them, only one place cheaper i found, but they offer up to 6 static ip addresses without extra charge, so they work out better value really. Alot cheaper when you think of the comapnies which charge about £2 an ip a month extra.

Anyway since i have been using them the only major problem i have had was one 12 hour outage, which was apparently caused by BT screwing up. The one tihng which i would point out is, they ar enot known for their good technical support, not that its no good, just you may have to wait a while. But i nver use tech support :) and as longas you know what your doing you dont really need to either, as they offer alot of the account detaisl online.

PS the clan-tags is what will appear in the domain bit, these don't necessarily have to be clan tags, can be anything you want :)
