    TOR, Silk Road, Bitcoin value

Im not going to explain the what the 3 things in the title of the thread are. If you don't know i guess you can google them.

The purpose of this thread is really to discuss bitcoin value and why i think it will not drop any lower than $1.5

I am not really bothered why someone would want / need to use TOR, silk road or why they may have a large amount bitcoins, but I just want to hear peoples opinions of whether they think the use of TOR, silk road and other clandestine sites will ensure that bitcoin inflation does not go to high, and will it mean that bitcoins actually become quite a stable currency.

I think that for many people an anonymous online currency will make bitcoins become quite desirable. And although bitcoin mining may not be viable for profit in the UK, there are plenty of countries where it is.

I could be totally wrong. what do people think?

Sorry if you're reading this and have no idea what im rambling on about

i could post in that thread but it's a different topic really.

this is a thread about how bitcoins will become viable due to the black-market and the drugs underworld. Not really related to folding or mining other then both threads concern bitcoins.

There's a large amount of scepticism about just how anonymous BitCoin is, to begin with.

Personally i think its a waste of time and energy, you can go out and wash cars, mow lawns etc and make more money if your really that hard up for an extra $1.50 every day/s.

If your going to waste energy at least put the effort into a decent project like Folding.
