Have I gone insane?

Serious one here, I neeeed some sunglasses and have spotted these :



They have a price tag of £234, Now I know I dont need a £234 pair of sunglasses just a decent pair with good lenses will do but I really want these.
Am I mad to shell out that much £££ for em?

Gonna nip down medowhall and try em on before buying.

I would sell your 9800pro, sod the sunglasses and get a 800 XT But that's just me, and there is no way in the world I spend would that amount for sunglasses. Really, how often are you going to use them?

If you can afford them, then there's nothing stopping you (unless you watch Oxfam adverts and take into account the price of those glasses could feed half of Ethopia for the next decade - says the man who spent £2K on his PC).

Does seem to be an awfull lot to pay for a pair of glasses though, especially as they do look a hell of a lot of other really cheap sunglasses ripping off Oakley's bug/alien series from a couple of years ago...

Well ill be getting a X800 XT PE, when there widly avaliable and a little cheaper so thats not a issue

Very nice specs. What are they made of? IF they were plastic I wouldnt go near them. Not the lenses, the frames I mean.

As to if your mad: yes if your earning anything like I am at the mo but if you can afford them and feel happy enough then probably not

if you can afford it yeah. you really get what you pay for with sunglasses, was use dto cheap pairs for years, then bought me some oakleys. worth every penny

They look like oakleys. If they are you may want to take a look at Cebe sunglasses. Ive been told (although i have no confirmation) that Cebe make oakleys glasses. Oakley then stick their logo on them and whack the price up. If you look at Cebe you may notice certain similarities between the two makes as i (think) have noticed

Although if you like them glasses, go for them
