    Whats going on with McDonalds?

Now not only can you get salads and muffins, as well as chicken nuggets made with real chicken breast (wtf were they made with before??) but I went there for lunch with a few mates this afternoon, and there is now a 'Customer Satisfaction Manager' - with 5 stars no less - walking around the floor, asking if people are enjoying their meals, if they need any sauce etc. etc.

    McDonalds... caring about customers??

Long way to go still (KILL THOSE F***ING ADS) but it's a step on the right path. Imagine if Macdonalds suddenly turned into a salad bar selling non-gm products ect. they'd lose money but it'd be funny watching it happen. still, at least they're arent selling chicken recktum burgers anmore

McDonalds reported record losses last year and the first half of this year so they are trying to get more people in and make them welcome, Like Daniel said, why don't they just stop serving cardboard burgers and grinded gibblet nuggets and maybe people would go

Scary, I wonder if the UK franchises are going to do the whole "customer service" thing as much as it is in the US?

Makes me remember a years ago seeing a sign in Burger King on the wall by the counter, saying "Not entirely satisfied with your experience here? Ask to speak to [whatsisname], who will be happy to listen to your complaints.", and there was a picture of some poor sod below it.

Happy to listen to complaints? Jebus, that's job satisfaction for you!

New healthy image, probably because of all the parents yelling 'Your making my kids FAT!" and to try to get all the chavettes buying salad so they can squeeze a low cut top 3 sizes too small instead of the normal 2 sizes...

Did you see the one with the manager bloke inviting you to see behind the counter or what ever it was. Bet that the first and last time he's ever been in one of the outlets.

That's another thing i hate them for: who ever says those three words in a sentance, intentionally or otherwise, will get instant Chainsaw Treatment to the jugular. It's the most annoying form of advertising in the world when your friends are doing it

i love their ranch salad, it's sooo yummy, and i dont eat salad usually, but it's so crispy! totally the opposite of what i was expecting! but i agree that they should leave you in peace to eat! Oh, and they still take too long making plain burgers! they should have a stock of them ready cos i'm sure they get lots of orders for "plain cheese burgers"

It baby! They are loving it.

Personally, I've never jumped on the 'Its fashionable to knock McDonalds' bandwagon.

When I'm starving and can't be arsed to cook, nothing goes down as well as a nice Big Mac, large fries, some Chicken Nuggets with Tomato and BBQ dip, a cold Banana milkshake and a Rolo McFlurry.

    I'm loving that.
