QT is a bit of a throwback to when the boards were busier. It was kind of the polar opposite to the feisty forum (RIP), while the FF was for jokey messing, Question Time was for threads that were serious business.

I think most of us know which member is getting on everyone's tits recently for trolling (In my opinion that is the correct term for him/her)
Even the 'defender's are not really defending him/her but trying to say keep threads on topic but that doesn't really happen with any thread on here (take for example this one, it's gone on to talk about hospital and fruit juice) so why that particular one?
I appreciate moderating is a fine line though, however, if I had any colour to my title I'd be hovering my finger over that little 'hammer' icon...
Sometimes you need a few muppets to keep debate alive and give you some new perspectives - it's always good to hear how 'the other side lives'.
One of the main reasons after all this time that I am still on Hexus is that I findago the moderation to be fair and generally in line with my own opinions. Well done mods for keeping the ban hammer locked away for when it is really needed!

Way I see it, if me, TheAnimus and SantaClaus can escape being banned, the bar has already been set pretty high

This is bunny and friends. He is fed up waiting for everyone to help him out, and decided to help himself instead!
You should treat a forum as if its somebody standing next to you. So if those type of comments had been mentioned consistently to me you would be thinking "that guys an idiot" . Its like those folk in work you don't like but get on with because its your workplace.
I am waiting for the next thread.
Romany types scum of the earth or cheeky chappies
Or some other dailymail article.
As long as I can say the word tits I'm happy
I think that's true for all of us.
Society's to blame,
Or possibly Atari.
There have been a few "popular" threads recently. Three I can think of, each of which discussed religion, medicine and sexuality at some point. I know they all kept the admins busy. I had posts edited or deleted in at least two of those threads
I'm glad "xyz" wasn't banned (he wasn't was he ?). His post was contentious and the subsequent discussion was .... "heated", but his post didn't seem (to me) to be maliciously targeting any specific individual. I didn't agree with his view but I hate the idea that people can't ask unpopular questions or express unpopular views.
I would make one (polite) request to the admins (and commoners). Some threads do wander about a bit and that is OK. If I were to post a thread on "Is religion or homoeopathy worse than forum censorship ?", the thread might wander onto SOPA or the House of Lords or whether Bill Gates pays enough tax. That's OK and as long as the shift isn't sudden and inexplicable, I think it should be .... tolerated
