JD Gentleman Jack Whiskey, not Scottish or Irish but damn fine

Not too many mentions of Jura here - I'm a big fan. Their 'Superstition' single malt is lovely, honeyed, lightly peaty, easy drinking.

Also Laphraoig and Talisker, but they're usually out of my price range. I'll spend up to £20 but rarely more. Jura is often on offer in Sainsbury's and Waitrose.

I have it with a dash of water, not cold or you won't taste it properly

Had some Jura the other day and it was very nice. Would certainly go out and get another bottle of it.

Generally when I buy my whisky I buy it duty free at the airport and then make that bottle last. For that reason I haven't bought that much recently. Laphroaig is often on offer around here, Talisker less so.

Buy everything from Asda, it's dirt cheap there.

Current tipple is a bottle of Jura Superstition. Glenfiddich 15 year is pretty good too!

I'm told anCnoc is also nice.

The only blend I like is 'Grouse. Tried JD once and couldn't stand it... nice in BBQ sauce though!
