    Please save me from idiots.....

    ....I work at a garage where we have petrol pumps on the forecourt.

    10 minutes ago, it all went off out there....some woman shouting at a guy, him shouting back and her running away and not coming back to her car (and her fuel bill) until he'd gone.

    This is what occured:

    Bloke shows up, gets out of car with coffe cup in his hand, puts petrol pump in his car, starts filling, leaning back on his car, swiggin coffee.

    Woman pulls in, gets out on other side of pumps, starts filling, and then spots his coffee mug.

    Its steaming....he must live locally to bring hot coffee to the petrol station.

    She screams and accuses him of endagering her life, with a spark from the hot coffee.

    She has, after all, got her kids in the car.

    I think he told her to get a life.....

    she didn't....she got her kids out, and they RAN across the road....

    and wouldn't return until the bloke had gone.

    Please ....make the bad people go away

    Yeah, but the great thing is that if she's that annoyed about it she'll tell her husband/ work colleagues etc. and you can guaranteee that eventually one of them will explain to her that she's a moron who shouldn't be allowed out of the house.

    You need this sign displaying mate:

    I made it up just for you!
    PHP Code:
    $s = new signature();
    $s->sarcasm()->intellect()->font('Courier New')->display();

    Ahh... hang on, if it was a styrofoam cup, then maybe friction from the man's fingers could have caused a spark?

    Tthen, if the place had gone up, not only would there have been an all consuming fireball taking out the richer part of Beaconsfield, but the burning cup would have added to the denudement of the Ozone layer...

    If it was me I would have also retired to the minimum safe distance of just over the road too... everyone knows that a petrol fuelled fireball can't cross a two lane road.... it's in the Highway Code in fact...
