    I need a new desk

I'm looking for a new desk - not fussed about drawers a great deal, just a desk. An "L" shaped desk would be pretty good, about 75cm tall, black too.

I've had a quick browse, but can't see anything off hand.

Anybody know of/ found some good places to look on the interweb?

    Cheers!
    Kez.

I'm after something similar too. And big.

But my dad and I will most likely end up building one ourselves when this study gets redecorated

I've found it's best to go to local places (even though there are high prices) and check out what they've got.

    What's your budget?

Next time I need a desk, I'll certainly be building it myself, but the last one I got was a fantastic piece of dark red glass, about 2.5m by 1.5m. It's got a max load weight of about 40kg, so work a treat. And it's bloody massive too...

Ikea do reasonably cheap desks, although I'm not sure if they do anything in black....what is it with people in here and their affinity for black? Get some colour in your lives...

Ask Skii, he's an expert on desks.......(apparently!)
If you're not living on the edge, you take up too much room

ikea do cheap table tops in loads of different styles and colours, and you can choose some of the legs they've got or just get some from else where. It's easy enough to put them together too. They've also got some decent complete desks in all different shapes and sizes, and not to badly priced either.
