My concerns are more towards the electrics since the fans didn't cut in and the pas light came on, have to wait and see what the diagnosis is tomorrow.

Believe me, if I was the person responsible for something like that in the garage I work in, I'd get some bloody bollocking!
They'll definitely have to be coughing up if there's any damage done to your car.
Annoying part is that it takes a few mins to check that kinda stuff

Still I'd pump them for all their worth! Take as much as you can get; big time damage from one of their services hurts reputation.
