Yep. I always do exactly what the PM says without even stopping to think. I'm going to trash a restaurant tonight.

similar reasons as to why electronic devices aren't allowed on planes at certain times. if people are preoccupied with phones and gadgets during take off and landing, the most common times when an accident can happen, they won't be fully aware to help themselves and others escape. one guy on the end of the isle that doesn't move quickly can affect the other people who need him to move first before they get out. with mobile phones during flight, imagine how annoying it will be with 30 people chatting incessantly about complete rubbish whilst you are on a plane for hours

but sometimes it's just easier to give another answer instead of try and explain something long winded that people might argue about
    This.

I worked for many years in a Tesco petrol station and talking to the fire/petroleum officers this was there biggest concern.

Ive seen so many stupid things done on forecourts that I really do wonder why there arent more accidents.

    Stupid things Ive seen:
    • Bentley driver smoking a cigar
    • Woman hitting the pump with her car then claiming the pump hit her.
    • At least 3 people driving off with the nozzle still in the tank.
    • 4x4 driver running over a 3 foot traffic cone at speed (so much so that it was wedged under his car)
    • People trying to fill plastic bags and bottles
    • Parent trying to let small children use the pumps.
    • A guy wanting to jump start his car by the pumps, then pushing it back towards the fill point.

And on two occasions people with burning cars pull onto the forecourt!!!

    Isn't salad what food eats??
