    Lightbulb Hammocks!

Dunno why it never occurred to me to ask here but I'm after a hammock for when I move back down to Oxford at the weekend. Indoors, if I can't mount it to the walls peoperly I'll find something to tie it to, so no need for a fancy frame of anything.

Looking to spend £10-£30 on a not too fancy, not too cheap hammock, anyone seen anywhere in the Oxford area or online to buy them from?

I'd say a good bet would be Homebase or B&Q if you havent already tried.

Still mounting it indoors your biggest problem is going to be finding somethign to tie it to. Most modern stud walls would be barely capable of holding up a hammock. And you definitely dont want it collapsing

Try down the cowley road mate, as I remember there was a shop just before you get to the Plain, like a kind of Indian Emporium, dunno if it's still there though, worth a go

Think I know the one you mean mate, last time I went by there they had a load of half price futons... near the Nando's and Polish restaurant, I think.

    Worth a try there anyway.

Ahhh, the good ol' Private Shop, I'll have a look there. And next door too. ;-D

Saw on in a shop in Little Clarendon St. a while back, which set this whole idea off, was £42 though so started looking around for something a bit more down to earth.
