Or just stand in the mirror and do it

Plus with the mirror you can check yourself out and make sure the pose is right etc

Hey, Elmo, you seem to know butt-loads about hair and stuff...

I keep getting these really annoying small knots at the tips of a lot of my hairs, how would one reduce if not get rid of them because they are just impossible...

I look after my hair very well, I wash it everyday and apply a healthy amount of Dax as advised by my sister and cousin
    http://www.imperialdax.com/product.php?id=3

Note that I MUST comb my hair and wet it to make the whole process of combing it a lot easier and painless

Ta for any help you giveth thee Elmo

Well, I got mine cut. It's just shorter - nothing too different. I think next time (probably jan-feb), I'll get it fairly short.

beanfro, i've not had much experience with afro hair, so i dunno what's the best way to look after it. However, i would use loooooooads of a nice intensive conditioner. That seems to stop the tangles, however since your hair is naturally frizzy/curly/kinky it probably has a predisposition to tangle. when i get the really impossibly small tangles (that do my head in) I tend to just snip them out...

ahh see i only get the odd one or two, and its usually only between 3 hairs and its at the very end so it doesnt make much difference. but yeah, when my hair is INCREDIBLY tangled (wheni've just removed my dreads) i use the aussie 3min miricle and leave it on for about an hour, then comb through it with a wide tooth comb. Seems to do the trick quite nicely and leaves my hair all nice and soft

Used to have really long hair. I then started to get a bald patch at the top. So... I shaved my head and have never let ig get past a #1 since. The spooky thing is that the bald patch has gone away, spooky but cool.

For some strange reason i never seem to get tangles in my hair. haven't brushed my hair for years, probably since i had it cut as short as the hair dresser could without using clippers or one of those huge comb things. Now it's past my ears and still no tangles
