dude, if you go to the Ardeche Region, make sure you go to the night market at Largentiare (sp?), its great. as is bridge jumping at Pont Diablo if its hot.also, make sure you hire a kayak and go down the Ardeche River. i spent 2 weeks there a couple years back, and despite being in france, it was the best holiday ever, apart from amsterdam! hope you have a great time mate! i'm sure you will.

i should be off to this soon - www.lowlands.nl should be propa bo! then to Reading Festival the next weekend. sorted!

if war is the answer, then we are asking the wrong question

I'm going to the Cevennes, pretty much in the middle of the south of france (if you know what i mean) its about an hour from the sea, great little place, my grandad built a house there like 50 years ago and we are going to stay there, it rocks!

I'm still waiting to go to Amsterdam!

amsterdam is TOTALLY worth it!! make sure you go with friends, unless you got a VERY liberal family! its a great place to spend a week or 2, even if you don't indulge in the dutch 'customs'

that house sounds great mate. i stayed in an old townhouse in Largontiere for 2 weeks, it was amazing. the food is amazing, the scenery is gorgous, there are sooooo many extreme sports to do, its wicked. and the french seem reasonably decent down there too!
    have a great time mate.
    peace
