So I got my son's 5th birthday present today. (hint: he loves Portal 2)

Shipped over from Thinkgeek, he will go nuts when he sees this on Saturday!

Took about 3 weeks and had to pay extortionate customs/Royal Mail fees but SO worth it! Gonna pop the other 2 on eBay to lessen the blow on my wallet!

    Awesome!

Funnily enough for a friends Birthday I placed an order with TG during the week, and part of it was for the Portal bookends.
For an extra $4 I specified delivery by DHL, and not only did it arrive within 4 days I had no customs charge.

It crossed my mind but the trading rules don't exactly go hand in hand with what I want to ask for them - I need to make my money back somehow!

I receive bits and bobs with no commercial value - shipper pays, as part of the job. DHL are the only people to have invoiced. So we tell people to avoid them now.
