    New tattoo partially finished *UPDATE*

Well I finally took the plunge and decided to get a tattoo, it is an extract from the book of Kells which is an early gospel manuscript hand written and illustrated by Monks, was found in a bog minus the jewel encrusted cover years later after a viking raid.
Cats are old celtic guardians, bit like Christian angels.

I still have about another three hours in the chair and some of this is just sketched until the next session although it is sketched with a tattoo needle
The photo is also not all that good but the digicam is out of batteries and we couldn't find the charger.

    I love tatoo's

One thing that I kinda regret now is having mine filled in.....

If I ever have another, it will be just the outline. I love the emptyness and the skin in the centre.

Custom work usually goes for around £40-70/hour depending on the artist.

    -edit

Flash work will be priced depending on size, linework detail, colouring, and shading.

About another three hours left on it, it is going to be very lightly shaded when the linework is completely finished.

Is costing me €100 an hour, she is a pretty good artist and not a celtic specialist so hence the expense. That was one hours work so far.
