When I lift a pc, i generally have one hand at the front on the top, to keep the door closed and to provide stability, and one hand at the rear on the bottom. Its a tried and tested method that has never failed me..
until i open a door with my elbow and the filter over the PSU on the bottom of the case decides to slide out and the PC goes crashing to the floor.
Cue dented case, and a very worried half hour as I strip it down to find the cause of it not switching on was the ATX cable being loose. Its now a touch unsteady (broken foot), but thankfully none of the gubbins appears to have been affected (still a little worried about the GPU).
Rather annoyed by my own stupidity in this case, especially as I had it open for a data xfer from a corrupt Vista drive, only to find it was partitioned and could have installed windows 7 to the other partition anyways to get the data back.
