So I've called the police.
Might have to find a new place to live.
I don't think its the first time she has either but its the first time I've been here.

I remember causing an almighty great fuss at uni, because I confiscated a friends girl friends keys before she was trying to drive off drunk.... She called the police.
No fun was had by all. But at least I'd been smart enough to give the keys to security before the rozzers turned up and made everyones life hard.

+1 well done
Interests: kicking the ass of technical problems and gaming.
You made the right move. However after doing a bit of driving today I dare say half the drivers on the road must be drunk.
Well she hailed from Catford, and I speak with a lovely RP accent. Who are the police going to side with!
However, as they did point out, it was a crime to steal someones car keys. I merely explained she had given them to me earlier, to prevent her from driving home, or at least that was my recollection, and I was a lot more sober than her, so obviously I must have been telling the truth.
They sadly it turned out had nothing better to do than spend an hour coming to the conclusion that the keys been with a security guard was a good idea.
I was really shocked to see the number of people who drove drunk at uni, some runt, wrote of his brand new mini due to coke n booze, somehow his dad been wealthy and connected n what with it been private property it happened on, no charges were brought. His dad even bought him a new one, because the insurance refused to pay out and he sure as hell didn't want to push it.
I really do hate drunk driving, its a sign of a very irresponsible person who just can't handle their drink/drugs. The kind who ruin it for the rest of us![]()

if they cant be reasoned with, they cant be trusted to make sensible judgements on their own. definately did the right thing and you might well have saved a life tonight.
I will put my cards on the table and admit i drove drunk once, there wasnt any real reason for it and i can say nothing more than i am ashamed that i did. Most people learn from mistakes and i am forever grateful that my mistake had no physical impact and the only harm came in the form of my own personal pride.
I blame the lack of large Deer in England. More of those prancing around and everyone would have to be careful by default.
I ment to tell you, last weekend I was in Finland, did a road trip from Helsinki up towards the north, despite many warning signs on the road, never saw a moose.
