Something EXTRA SPECIAL to do in New York?

I'm gonna be in NewYork for my 1st Wedding Anniversary on 20th Sept this year (just over a month away).

    Soooo........
Over and above being there (part of a holiday), what can I treat the wife to that will be EXTRA special.

    Any ideas?

    Cheers,

    Lee.

Most women say "A night away from that blooooooody computer for one!".

But really, don't make a particular gesture of sorts in my opinion, just really get into enjoying the atmosphere of New York and be as sporadic and random as possible...

You've lasted this long already, I'm sure you could do some awesome things there!

Get the parents to leave you to it for a while, chances are they want some kind of break too...

No other ideas apart from what I already said... (Not been to NY!)

Candlelit dinner away from the rest of the world, preferably with a beautiful view.

You could have a meal in front of the Empire State Building at night and have them fit pink light bulbs in selected rooms. When you're just about to have your dessert, you get them to flash "I <3 U" on it.

    Melt like butter, she would.

Seriously though.. congratulations dude. All the best for now and years to come. A day shopping/sight-seeing together and a candlelight dinner would be lovely for both of you, I'd guess.

Love the idea Theo , just not sure if that's possible

Cheers for the other suggestions guys
We've already got a Helicopter ride round the skyline booked as it came as part of the Kuoni package. (New York, WashingtonDC, Boston).

That's the thing, it's a special enough holiday as it is, so I gotta work hard to go the extra bit on our anniversary.
