Does anyone have experience with moulding clay ?
Where can I buy it and how do I go about using it for craft work . e.g. make a toy sword using only moulding clay.
Thanks!

Used to do loads with FIMO as a child. It is basically slightly harder plasticine that you pop in the oven after you have finished making whatever, and then glaze over afterwards. Im not sure how suitable it would be for something the size of a sword though.

I would make it out of wood, and then paint metallic afterwards personally.

The range has quite a bit of molding clay and crafting stuff in general.
wouldn't it be better to use one of those vynals that you cook in an old pan, then pour in to a mold? because most clays aren't very strong.

Found air drying moulding clay in a 99p store as part of kids' first handprint kit. Did the job!
