If we see a post that looks like spam, it will be held pending discussion by the Mod team.
Posts that consist of a link that could be advertising, particularly if there is no or little explanatory or supporting text, likely to fall into this category.
(We also treat as suspicious those links where the link itself has been hidden by a descriptor in the html code unless there is clear indication where the link points to)
We do treat unauthorised advertising seriously and will err on the side of caution if there is any ambiguity.
Where we can, we will send the member concerned a PM, but as we all have RL occupations, that isn't always possible. We are also busy with a number of flyby spammers who are posting only to gain HEXUS rewards without making constructive or useful posts for the benefit of the community.
