First off, where is the link between Bill Gates and this?
Secondly, 'see the effects for myself', there was no evidence what so ever of anything harmful, they showed pictures of rats with tumours, no link to the actual study, just shocking pictures of rats.
This thread is just awful.

Wow, so when am I going to get my tumors for having foods made from GM crops? Its silly, i think people would have issues by now and genetically modified is a rather broad term, without it sometimes you wont protect your crops you may as well stop having any crops because pesticides can hurt you as well!.
Here you go
bon appetit !

You know, instead of posting a link to a video with a handful of words, how about you actually post researched, balanced arguements to support your unsubstainiated, and potentially libelous remarks about Bill Gates.
You didn't even bother to include a direct link to the article in the Huffington Post, which whilst broadly supporting the findings of the video, also mentions that "the test group was fed Roundup weedkiller in their water"

This is bunny and friends. He is fed up waiting for everyone to help him out, and decided to help himself instead!
Blame Young Turks then , they reported it - not me , Im just a member here who decided to post a link just like you and everyone else .
What am I meant of said that was potentially libelous ?
I already knew Bill Gates was investor even if you didnt , and posted video showing what he was an investor of , where am I meant to have said or accused him of anything ?
And even if I did so what , is it illegal now to comment on someone ?
I didnt see anyone complaining when I post that link up on the catholic priest

All crops are 'genetically modified'.
It's just some crops are modified by design and others are modified by random chance.

Me, him, Lucio, etc.
No proof of causality in the video. And Monsanto not given air time to challenge the assertion, so hardly a balanced report.
And the link with Bill Gates? Irrelevant.
I'm sure he invests in lots of businesses, and I'm sure there are many other investors in Monsanto.
I might be joining that group too.
You link implies that the investment by Bill Gates is a direct cause of tumours in rats allegedly caused by GM food. Which is clearly ludicrous.

Humans have indeed been genetically modifying things for years. Dogs are genetically modified by humans. The domestication of crops is the only reason an ear of corn is 8 inches long instead of 1.
This video is stupid. It's a classic case of people with no understanding of science talking about how the science shows that science is bad. Remind anybody of the Daily Mail? To my knowledge (and I know a reasonable amount about these things) there has never been a GM crop released to the public which has caused any harm. What Monsanto do is morally questionably only insofar as they create seeds which will produce sterile plants, meaning that poor farmers in the third world will have to buy the seeds every year - they are in it for the money. Monsanto is the number 1 target for ill-informed eco warriors and has been for a long time. What Monsanto do is a lot like what drug companies do; they produce products which help humanity but they aim to spin a profit from it. Is this morally wrong? Not in my opinion, as they produce cures to diseases and they produce drought resistant crops which will help feed the billions of people on the planet. Doing these things is absolutely cutting edge and is not easy or cheap. Should they provide the service for free? I'm not saying all of the business practices are ethically sound but do people seriously expect that millions of man hours and millions of pounds will be spent on creating a cure for malaria and then this will be distributed free of charge?

Bill Gates is an absolute hero. The man complains that he doesn't pay enough taxes and has given billions upon billions of dollars to charity. If he is investing in Monsanto it is to help them produce pest resistant, drought resistant and high yield crops.
