Stolen astronomy kit, Cardiff area

Stolen from one of my astro chums from UK Astro Imaging, Robert Lewis of Cardiff.

Telescope - Revelation 80 semi apo refractor colour red with assorted eyepieces filters etc. Also the Atik314L camera + manual filter wheel Meade DSI 2 and Canon 300D DSLR+ the Imaging Source Cameras DBK21AF04 and DMK21AF04.

I bet that's some expensive kit!

There's a big Star party in Exmoor this week, maybe he should get hold of the event organisers and let them know what exactly was stolen incase anyone 'suspicious' turns up with some of the same kit.

I guess it is a pretty specialised market for this sort of stuff (maybe apart from the camera) so When the thief tries to fence it, there might be a chance of recovery.. Online auction sites might be worth watching for a while.
