Question; Winning a HEXUS draw

Hi, first and foremost I'm new to the Hexus.net community but everyone seems very helpful from what I've read so far.

My question is; if you have won something from Hexus.net and they have mailed you and asked for confirmation/info (address etc...) will they e-mail back to say that they have received your info (a confirmation e-mail) or should i simply sit tight and wait for that special something when the postal-service shows up at my door?

Thanks a ton and I hope that someone can help answer my question, cheers!

well, first of all. conrgats maboof

the compo i won a few weeks ago, DR emailed me, i mailed back my address and stuff.

within a day or so, prizes had arrived,

i fired off another email saying it had arrived.

thats it.

DR's a busy guy. theres no knowing what he and his minions do in the confines of the hexus building, to get all these wonderful prizes. he may be a bit 'tied up' so cant reply to each and every email.

but if its not turned up by the weekend, send another email on monday and let him know.

(although, posting to ON Canada could take a bit longer )

If it helps I got second prize in the Sins Of a Solar Empire Competition some time back, and was e-mailed right away to confrim my details had been accepted and the prize would be sent soon - and it was pretty darn quick too

I'm not a cynic but a realist in that I think my chances of winning are small. I still thinks it's fun to enter though, so I don't mind the small chances, it's not like I have to pay to take part like I would with the lottery (where my chances are significantly smaller and playing costs money too).
