Apparently it's a composite of multiple 2MP photos, the arm was then 'shopped out.

This is what it does so hence it is a Rover

Rover is not it's name like you implied but what it is, it's name is Curiosity

That is strange isnt it ?

If the moon reflects the suns light when its a full moonie how can there be any shadows at all based on that opposition effect ? ,

I thought the apollos only source of light was the very thing ( sun ) being reflected ?

or does the effect only happen at certain points i.e. like when it is full , allowing for enough light for shadows to be cast ?

If the Sun's light is being reflected, then it's also an illumination vector (not just a, but *the*), as well as the objects on the moon bouncing light back.

Mythbusters actually did an episode on this, and they demonstrated the multiple shadow casting effect. It's an interesting watch.

But if you still find yourself leaning on the moonlanding hoax conspiracy, and you don't trust NASA's recent lunar survey data, it's easy to disprove, whip out a large telescope, and go looking for NASA clutter, the landing sites are a matter of public record. They even left behind a retro reflector panel for us to bounce lasers off so we can measure the precise distance of the moon on a regular basis.

I have no idea why people think something so easy to disprove was orchestrated as a hoax to fool the public for what reason I have no idea.
