    Good stuff. Just because I reckon a hell of a lot of people just don't understand why safety briefings matter, here's a serious guide:

    You can of course ignore the briefing....if you've already made a mental note of where all the emergency exits are, how to put on a life jacket, and how best to brace! Out of interest, who here knows how to open the over-wing emergency doors on a plane? I sat next to them once (and enjoyed the extra legroom), so I do.

    As I posted a few months ago, a ferry I was on this year sank less than a month after I took it. I had clocked where the emergency exits were before I sat down. If I'd been on that boat when it sank I reckon I'd have got out O.K.

    I found the whole LOTR on a budget with the odd in-joke cannot hide it from what it really is, a bit boring.
