I seldom rant about firms. I myself run a small one, and have run devisions in larger ones, I understand that there are problems which outsiders won't appreciate, won't comprehend the complexity.
But Everything Everywhere are a complete joke.
I can't fathom how two companies with OK to Good customer services can spawn such a mess.
They constantly have inaccurate data on their screen, or just no data. You have to go through about 3 different chinese walled teams to be able to get a proper picture of what is going on. This makes no sense.
They are 'loosing' pre-orders from their system apparently, and only finding out about it. Meanwhile they are charging users the new premium prices for a service they can't yet use.
Then to top it all off, when you exercise you right to cancel an upgrade, things get very bad, you phone can stop working completely, and it might take up to 5 days to rectify this. Of course they don't tell you this before your out of the country, and it really doesn't matter how many people have your number and rely on been able to contact you, they can't give you a PAC code, which they claim is within offcom rules because your account doesn't exist as an active one.
I apparently was one of the first 600 customers. I still have not recieved any 4G compatable device. A local phones4u shop have stock, but can't migrate me as my number is locked to these idiots, which really rubs salt in.
All I can say, is stay the hell away from EE. Wait for vodafone, as hoepfully they will not mess up their customer service, and technically the frequency they use might allow for better range through objects (in offices etc).
I have no problem with EEs pricing, I like the roaming a lot, hell I don't mind paying £50 a month line rental if the service is good. A good phone service is essential and worth thousands of pounds to me and my business a year.
EE right now are just in such an unfathomably bad way. I've had 6 phone calls so far welcoming me to EE, each time I've had to explain again that I'm still not on a 4G system, and am worried my current sim will stop working.
