I always preferred him as station commander over Bruce Boxleitner.
There has been a fair few of the actors from Babylon 5 passed away now.
I am feeling quite gutted about this, he was only 60 years old![]()
So so sad... is something out to get these guys?![]()

Yes you can ALL feel sorry for Directhex
This news is a few months old,but hopefully it could mean a new B5 series or even the old one remastered:

no you are right I miscounted
Andreas Katsulas (G'Kar), Jeff Conaway (Zack), Richard Biggs (Dr. Franklin), Tim Choate (Zathras), and the great Paul Winfield (General Franklin) and now Michael O'Hare :< - tis sad when your childhood heros pass on
Add in Turhan Bey (Centauri Emperor)
That is very sad news. Looks like he hadn't been well for a while:
"O'Hare had for the last ten years, been retired from acting and was not seen in public which had lead to rumors of his being seriously ill for the last decade of his life."
That's a shame. I still don't know why he stopped being a regular cast member after series 1.

As much as I liked Jeffrey Sinclair, I think the whole 5 series were brilliantly written and that J. Michael Straczynski had it all planned, from start to finish. Without John Sheridan coming in, Sinclair couldn't have been the Minbari ambassador, which was a necessary set-up for War Without End, which itself was set up in Babylon Squared.
Those three episdes (Babylon Squared, War Without End Part1 & Part2) are my favourite of the whole 5 series.
In Valen's name...
