I moved here (London) recently and was wondering what was the protocol when dealing with drunk people (passed out or crying on the floor)?
Call police? ambulance? (panic?) leave them alone? (seems mean)

Anything other than unconcious, leave them
@jackvdbuk: yeah I'm serious, at least in Italy the cops will take you home.
And last year in Australia we (me and my brother) found a guy lying on the edge of the road, got his friends' number and got them to pick him up, or he probably would have ended in jail or gotten his wallet nicked at least.
Personally I just leave them lying on the floor.
If they are stupid enough to get themselves so blindly drunk that they can't even walk then they deserve whatever happens to them.
As you can tell I have no patience for people who can't control themselves with drink.
Typical London attitude is to completely ignore them for risk of being stabbed.
Unless someone is actually unconcious, I'd leave well alone. If they are unconcious, try to roll them onto their side and call an ambulance

This is bunny and friends. He is fed up waiting for everyone to help him out, and decided to help himself instead!
