any one got any ideas how to work out module percentages's into what degree mark ya've got...... i.e. 2.1, 2.2 etc..
e.g. say ya get 75% in 6 modules over the final year. what does that relate to, a first? 2.1, 2.2, third, or whatever....

Different universites have different schemes. Generally,
80% First
70% 2-1
60% 2-2
40% 3rd
Is a very rough guide.
Kent at Canterbury when i went and did computing a a fair few years ago was 6th in the computing degree standings, was 70% first, 60% 2:1, 50% 2:2, 40% 3rd.
But it needed to be, the whole course was damn tough, I got about 58% just short of a 2:1.
A reletively bad final year project due to 1 out of the 4 in the group did 0 work, the three of us who did do some got 54 and he got 41.... however we lost so many marks due to the lack of effort of our 4th member, and considuring the weighting of the project 25% of final years marks, i think 58% or above would have given me a 2:1
I'm not bitter honest

ditto Tig :-) but they had an odd cascade system where your best modules had a higher weighting than the worst ones or somethign like that.
