If you read the description this was part of a pre arranged publicity campaign paying homage to their city and publicity stunts are not classed as flash mobs

Ode to Joy, part of its beauty is its so simple to learn to play. I reckon I could teach anyone the first part on the piano within a couple of hours even if they've never played before.
