hehehe, the real gem of this link is the video monologue - feral goats, meth labs, porn actor etc

Impressive what he's built, of course. Kinda sad, too, but as he says, it brings the laydeez!

Utterly brilliant! It's not sad at all! That's art! The time, the patience and skill that must have taken...

i currently have doctor who ( just daleks ) / star wars ( Stroopers ) / transformers diorama going on...

mainly all bought stuff cheap here and there - till if i get well enough ...

the stuff you can pick up these days is amazing.. ideally i want to customize some too.

star wars mini storm troopers with even a simple black wash are pretty effective.

I splashed out on this guy for xmas purely to fufill my childhood fantasy and semi complete my autobot faction . heh

the original scene in star wars was basically all animation using models like that ( apart from actors ) even the background sky was painted..
( prob one of the greatest all time battle scenes in any film ) compared to cgi rubbish today.

Just ignorance , and stupid insecure people following the usual peer , pressure pack conditioning and sterotypes .

Look at how accepted and popular VGs are now compared to 20 yrs ago..

In the end their just objects - nothing more -just because you can drink me under the table or drive a monster truck and can do jujitsu doesnt mean I need to do prove myself in some stupid machoism of egos , to see who has the biggest whatever to use and shame.

If some silly cool judges you for it , all the better , you wouldnt want someone like that any one ( trust me )

    What???

Someone (presumably into model making) has built a model of a Star Wars scene! I really can't see why you have a problem with that!!

The funny thing is, you are being rather judgemental with this post.

Well, I am neither ignorant nor insecure. Therefore, I feel no need to accept your opinions as fact

There are badly done CG, just as there are bad models. At the end of the day, there are both tools for make-beliefs. I'll accept that some people prefer the "feel" of one from over the other, but I consider it purely subjective.

Also, just because everyone is driving towards you doesn't necessarily mean that THEY are the ones on the wrong side of the road

hehe look again , I never judged anyone , but you did !!

I was judgmental about others behaviors true though ( bad melon ) but was I aware of being judgmental while I was doing it ?

Your right most people arent even aware of the fact their even on a road , much less in a car , or a road that has others roads connected, they're too busy following the others cars in front of them - away from or towards something else ( really anything ) as long as its not the unkown ...

Am I being judgmental, well that depends on you

"that's what the ladies look for..." haha that made me chuckle.

Not really something I'd personally be into making....but whatever makes his day.

Awesome, the Hoth Battle scene is one of the stand out moments in the original SW trilogy, like the way he put light in the explosions to make them look better.
