W00t; New Digital Camera
Well seeing as the thread that was deleted due to the backup restoration kinda expired, I thought I'd post a fresh new one.
I recieved my shiny, sexy new Olympus MJU:300 Digital Camera today, and have spent all afternoon playing about with it and taking photos. Below are a few sample pics a couple of you requested earlier on.
Might take a slight while to load on slower connections, apologies if so. These images haven't been touched up or anything, just resized from 2048x1536. Figured the Hexus elves wouldn't appreciate images of that size :p

Also visit www.thecannings.co.uk and click on Digital Photographs to see some nice macro shots of some flowers I took just now. I'm impressed with these photos, take a look if you can! :p
Again, these were resized from 2048x1536 to 1024x768, if they're too big for your browser, save them and use an appropriate image program. :p

Josh, that ant shot is the one I'm most impressed with. I took it, uploaded it to my computer, looked at it for a few seconds, and thought "good god that's good". :)
Yeah I'll take a nicely composed pic of something all technical soon! :p

How much that set you back?
-
£230 from Amazon. It's usual RRP is £300-£350 so I got it quite cheap!

That's a very nice macro shot! Anyone else wanna share any? :p
-
F***in hell, ur dad is rolf harris?
-
-
What camera did you use for that?
-
It's a Nikon 880, about 2.5 years old. That's what it's best for macro shots.
Love to get a more modern, quicker camera cos this one is soooo slow. It takes ok pics though, a bit hit n' miss if you know what i mean.
-
wow those are Really good! i think you've sold me on this camera :D
-
:p
What camera do you have at present, Josh?
I need to learn to take proper photographs I think. Does anyone know of any decent Digital Photography websites (not reviews) or forums?
-
well i borrow a fuji a202 occassionally and it's not very good for close up pics. but it's okay for general photos.
