    Found it. http://forums.hexus.net/showthread.php?t=11156

That was the last time I tried. January!

I've not had any since hospital, probably won't even finish off this packet. I hope it's scared me enough to not want to buy any more, even if this problem isn't related in any way to smoking!

Now I know this is gonna sound like im trying to rain on your parade guys but I hope your quitting because you actually want to, because if you don't and your doing it because of peer pressure or because its (I'm gonna say this but its kinda the wrong way to put it) Trendy to quit at the moment then it won't stick and you'll start again.

Bobby you seem to genuinly want to and more power to you, but I know some people who have tried to quit and failed simply because they didn't really want to do it for themselve's,one of my mates is trying to quit at the moment and despite the fact I take the mick outta him sometimes I respect what he's trying to do, he's doing well too as I think he's only had 1 or 2 while drunk in about a month since he quit, Not trying to put people down for quitting, just a warning really

Well, I gave up in February, and haven't really lapsed at all! It's still not easy though.

Good luck to you, just make sure you don't give into your craving. Even if it means leaving your wallet at home so that you can't buy any... (I had to do this on more than one occasion!)

Pyle - try to credit those that smoke - myself included with the knowledge that it isn't the most healthy choice of life style.

self rightuous posts like the one above make me want to smoke more. I fact I've just lit up. I hope the taxes I pay in fags will benefit you one day. I've bought the darn hospital already

take home fact: Yes I know its not good for me , but the only person thats going to make me stop is ME , not some pictures of cancer - I've witnessed enough cancers in healthy non smokers before , your petty "shock tactics" do bugger all for me.

Bobby , sorry to trash on your thread - perhpas one day I wil give up , and have the wilpower you do to stick at it , which I hope you do. just promise you wont be a militant ex-smoker, or I'll be forced to kill you

I am going to give up AGAIN very soon, if you want the bad news I quit around January of this year, I lasted SEVEN months and I STILL wanted them so I started again, I originally quit due to peer pressure, family etc. but I soon realised that I still wanted them and just didn't have the strength to see it through.

Gonna give it another shot soon, I need to last more than seven months this time.....good luck to all those giving up.

Not really checked, probably not, my motabilism is kind to me I have weighed exactly same since I was 17 (23 now).

If anything I will have lost some because football season has started.

I have noticed that I have been eating lots more chocolate, probably a substitute.
