    as you can see from my sig.. a spammer could easily have harvested my address from the forum using a bot...

    how he got your address i don't know... maybe we're looking at a more worrying problem if the database episode from a while back has resulted in account info being leaked

    So far I've had nothing on any of mails that I've used on hexus.

    Indeed interesting. I may have posted my email publicly on the forums, which would explain how they got it, but i don't remember posting it since the hack. The search also doesn't show it up.

    I don't think they could have had leaked information from the database - even if they did get their hands on it, i really doubt any commercial company would be stupid enough to use them.
